The children in our communities face new and unique challenges every day, and many confront these issues without proper training or guidance from parents, teachers, or mentors.
At Knotus, our vision is to create a world where all children can enjoy the benefits of learning from a personal Life Coach. Various circumstances dictate how much time parents can dedicate to their children to understand the challenges they face genuinely for many families. These issues may be in the classroom, in social life, or even concerning the future.
Regardless of the scenario, Knotus is committed to changing lives by, working collaboratively with families, guardians, teachers, and childcare providers in assessing children's developmental needs, deficiencies, and disabilities.
Knotus was established in 1997 but launched in 2017 to provide educational mentorship through life coaching and therapeutic services for children and adolescents. Our organization's groundwork developed from the observation of how the isolated impressions that our youth are too uncomfortable to express their feelings safely and effectively. Upon thorough assessment of some of the students we worked with, we concluded that a well-rounded organization like Knotus would be beneficial for youth and adolescents to have an infrastructure to help guide them not just in school but also in society and their community.
Knotus is faithful to its mission "to empower and educate individuals on how to access resources to rise above statistics and improve quality of life". We strive to do this by building leaders for a better society using early interventions, behavioral assessments, life skills to aid in productive, intentional, and purposeful life outcomes. We commit to investing in and instruct young adolescents and parents on applying the tools allotted to them for guidance on being and becoming capable citizens and, more importantly, to have a structuralized quality of life.
Over the past two years, Knotus work closely with several schools in Gardner, Massachusetts, and Atlanta, Georgia, serving children and youth dealing with behavioral challenges. We assisted through counseling individuals that have and are at risk for developmental delays. We worked in group sessions with elementary and middle school children providing mentorship and motivational talks for them. Our therapists provided individualized support to children and youth on and off the autism spectrum in the past eight years. With a total of ten years of expertise combine, Knotus have been able to work closely with parents, guardians, teachers, schools, and colleges in providing vital methods to help equip the fragile mind of our youth.
